About Us
Brandon and Tyler Large (Owners of OC Ramps, Inc.) have been building Skate ramps in Orange County, California since 1997. Originally, the ramps were sold pre-built and hand delivered locally in Huntington Beach. After a couple of years Brandon and Tyler saw the LARGE demand for skate ramps and decided to jump into the broader market.
The idea was to design and sell skateboard ramps in a kit that could be assembled easily by the customer. Everything would be included, from screws, to pre-drilled boards, to easy to follow instructions. Every ramp could be assembled in a couple of hours, using a drill. With the help of a draftsman and engineer, Brandon was able to design these ramp kits and fit them into boxes that would ship to ANY residence within the 48 states.
OC Ramps Inc. is a family owned business that puts the consumer first. Our mission statement is simple "Provide quality skating equipment at affordable prices". We are not concerned with huge profits and large margins. We want everyone who skates to be able to afford an OC Ramp, no matter where they live or where they come from. Providing skaters with ramps that let them practice the sport they love, is what we love.

Why are your prices so much less than the competition?
Here at OC Ramps Inc, we pride ourselves at being the most inexpensive. We are not concerned with huge profits and large margins, but with quality and affordability.

Do i have to open a paypal account to buy something?
No. PayPal is set up to receive credit card information, and transfer money. Once a customer clicks the "secure checkout" icon, they have the option of using their Paypal account, or they can click where it says "do not have an account". The customer would then fill out the information requested and that's it!!!

Do you make custom ramps?
No. All our ramps are pre-cut and pre-drilled. To design a custom ramp would require our draftsman to design drawings using a special program for our computerized router. The time and cost would be too great for one or two ramps. If there is a size you would like to see us start manufacturing, please let us know on our contact page.

What is a computerized routing table?
It is a machine that can cut large sheets of wood on a special table. Above the table is a mechanical router that can change bit sizes and move very fast cutting pieces of wood exactly as it is programmed. This ensures every slope and every hole is cut so perfectly that the speed and exactness would be impossible to duplicate by hand.
