Skating Glamis Sand Dunes with Dave Bachinsky & Friends 🌵🛹
When Dave Bachinsky gets an idea in his head, you know it’s going to be next-level. His latest mission? Build and skate a mini ramp right in the middle of the legendary Glamis Sand Dunes of Southern California.
Dave rounded up an all-star crew of pro ramp skaters—including Mike Berdis, the Dern Brothers, and TomTom—for a desert adventure unlike anything we’ve done before.

The squad rolled into the dunes, unloaded the lumber, and within just a few hours, a 4ft tall x 8ft wide OC Ramps mini ramp rose up from the sand like a mirage.

As soon as the final screws went in, the guys wasted no time—throwing down tricks against one of the most scenic backdrops imaginable.

Riders blasting sand rails and side-by-sides couldn’t believe their eyes. A halfpipe in the desert? People stopped in their tracks, pulled over, and came by to see it for themselves.

Some even hopped on boards to drop in, while others returned the favor by taking the skaters for high-speed rides across the dunes.

As the sun set behind the endless waves of sand, the session didn’t stop. A fire crackled nearby, lights fired up thanks to a generator, and the crew kept skating late into the night under a sky full of stars.

The vibe was unbeatable—pure desert freedom mixed with skate culture at its best.

Morning came quick, and the smell of sizzling bacon pulled everyone out of their sleeping bags.

In true Dave fashion, he cooked breakfast right on the deck of the halfpipe—a proper desert feast before getting back to business with early morning grinds, framed by the epic desert horizon.

This wasn’t just another skate trip—it was one for the history books. From the build to the sesh, the dune rides to the sunrise sessions, skating Glamis was pure magic.

Big thanks to Dave and the crew for making the impossible happen. Until the next mission…
