More width for the way you like to skate

Sometimes the next step is more room across the ramp, not more height. The 6 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe gives you a broader transition than the four-foot model while keeping the same three-foot-two-inch height. With two plywood riding layers and rear caster wheels, it is a substantial home-ramp kit you can plan around both skating and the space you have.

Find your line across six feet of transition

A wider quarter pipe gives you more room across the face to choose your approach and work toward the coping. This six-foot model sits between the four- and eight-foot widths, with the same height and depth as both. It is worth considering when you want more width for your session without moving to the full eight-foot ramp.

Make sure the extra width earns its space

The finished ramp stands three feet two inches tall and measures six feet wide by six feet five inches deep. Lay out that footprint alongside the clear area you will use to approach and return from it. Our Space and Fit guide helps you check the whole skating area so the added width becomes something you can use.

Two plywood layers. A separate protection choice.

Two plywood layers form the riding surface. The optional Skate Paint serves a different purpose: it coats exposed plywood to help protect the wood rather than adding another riding layer. Build that care decision into your outdoor setup, along with a plan for looking after the ramp over time. Our Riding Surfaces guide explains how wood, coatings and separate surface panels differ.

Take on the build with a kit and photo instructions

You get the ramp materials, assembly hardware and instructions with photos, rather than a set of plans that leaves you to source the whole build. A drill and wrench are needed for assembly. Leave room for life between sessions

Rear caster wheels help reposition the quarter pipe when you need to change the layout or store it after skating. At 215 pounds, this is still a substantial ramp, not a carry-in-and-out obstacle. Plan where it will sit and how it will move between those spots before you fill the surrounding space with other features.

I got the ramps on time and my son and I put everything together. It was a really easy, fun and fast project. One thing that sucked is the shipping company made me come get them from their industrial park headquarters. I had to get a trailer and hitch it up and drive out there. It weighed 900 lbs for all the stuff. I don't blame OC ramps for this but it was a lame move on the shipping company's part. They claimed their truck couldn't lift it off the back and since I don't have a fork lift at my house I was S.O.L.

We purchased 2 of the 3'2" tall 6' wide quarter pipes and set them up in our garage. We connected the 2 ramps with a layer of plywood and then a layer of hardboard to create a half pipe. We considered buying the garage mini-ramp, but the stock dimensions weren't a good fit for our garage and I also wanted to go 1' taller than the mini-ramp. Our kids love skating this ramp. I highly recommend this ramp and, if you have the space, installing it in your garage...it only takes up 1 parking spot in our garage, and the fact that it's indoors means it gets a ton of usage and does not require weather-proofing.

I took a few hours on a Saturday afternoon and put the 6' wide quarter pipe together with my teenage son. We only used 1 drill and it still went together easily. The one thing that isn't easy to work with is the skate paint- thick & took a couple days to dry cus my temps

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about 6 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe Ramp
How does the 6 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe Ramp compare with the four-foot model?

Both models are 3 feet 2 inches tall and 6 feet 5 inches deep. The six-foot ramp provides two more feet across the coping and weighs 215 pounds, while the four-foot ramp weighs 175 pounds. Both use rear casters. Choose four feet when the narrower approach and lighter move suit the site; choose six when the riders will use the added coping span.

When should I choose one 6 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe Ramp instead of the pair?

The single ramp gives the site one 215-pound transition and one approach to plan. The Pair of 6 Foot Quarter Pipe Ramps supplies two complete 216-pound transitions that can face each other or serve separate approaches. Choose one when a single broad turn or launch point completes the setup. Choose the pair only when the property can preserve usable approach, exit, movement, and storage space for both ramps.

How does the standard 6 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe Ramp differ from the Unicorn Quarter Pipe Ramp?

Both are six feet wide, 6 feet 5 inches deep, and movable on rear wheels. The standard ramp is 3 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 215 pounds, and offers two quarts of Skate Paint. The Unicorn is 2 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, carries its engraved graphic and shown colors, and offers one quart of paint. Choose transition geometry first, then product identity.

What can riders practice on the 6 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe Ramp?

Use the 6 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe Ramp for transition practice such as kickturns, rock-to-fakies, axle stalls, and launching into a line. Its height, width, and mobility determine how it fits with the rest of the setup, so start with a clear approach and progress within the rider's ability.

Can I return the 6 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe Ramp if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply. Review the current OC Ramps Return Policy before ordering.
