Give the line a two-sided transition

Take the line up one side and down the other. The Quarter Pipe Spine brings opposing transitions into one two-foot-high feature for sessions built around crossing the spine. Its three-foot-two-inch width gives you a defined target to approach from either direction.

Put a spine in the line

A spine brings opposing transitions together at the top, creating a different feature from a single quarter pipe. Choose it when crossing from one side to the other is part of the skating you want to work on. Plan clear approaches on both sides so the feature belongs in the whole run.

Match the width to your approach

The spine is three feet two inches wide and two feet high. Use those measurements to compare its scale with features you already skate. The width deserves as much attention as the height when you decide how the ramp will fit your approach.

Leave room on both sides

The complete ramp is six feet four inches deep. Add the riding space on each side before marking its position, and keep those paths clear of other obstacles. Our Space and Fit guide helps you turn the product dimensions into a layout you can actually skate.

Assemble one complete spine kit

The spine arrives as a kit with photo instructions. Bring a drill and allow an estimated one to two hours for the build. Lay out the components and follow the manual to assemble the feature before moving on to the rest of your setup.

Plan the coating before the first session

The spine calls for one quart of Skate Paint. Account for the coating work when you plan the build, then include regular care as the ramp becomes part of your spot. Our Ramp Care guide helps you look after the wood beyond assembly day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Quarter Pipe Spine Ramp
How does Quarter Pipe Spine differ from Micro Spine?

Quarter Pipe Spine stands two feet high and is 3 feet 2 inches wide, giving it more scale than the 15-inch-high, two-foot-wide Micro Spine. Both are two-sided, so choose between them by rider comfort and available room rather than product name alone.

How does Quarter Pipe Spine compare with Jordan Hoffart's Speed Bump?

Quarter Pipe Spine uses two curved transition faces over a shared center and stands two feet high. The Speed Bump is lower, broader, and built around one continuous bump profile. Choose the spine when two-way transition is the job; choose the Speed Bump when the route needs a wide flowing obstacle.

Is Quarter Pipe Spine the same as placing two separate quarter pipes back to back?

No. It is sold as one purpose-built two-sided spine with a shared center. Two separate quarter pipes would remain independent products with their own placement and connection decisions. Choose the spine when one integrated transition over the center is the intended riding shape.

How can riders use the Quarter Pipe Spine Ramp?

Use the Quarter Pipe Spine Ramp as a line-building obstacle for launches, ollies, and other tricks that fit its exact shape. Give the feature a straight approach and clear landing or exit, then progress from basic rollovers and controlled launches within the rider's ability.

Can I return the Quarter Pipe Spine Ramp if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply. Review the current OC Ramps Return Policy before ordering.
