Put stair tricks on the session list

Bump to Stairs brings a wedge approach and a grindable two-stair feature into your setup. Use it to work on stair approaches, ollies and grinds, with a twelve-inch bump and six-foot overall length to plan around. Choose the line you want to skate and give it room to run.

Bring a bump and two stairs into the line

The wedge bump and two-stair set give you more than one feature to work on during a session. Plan an ollie up or down the stairs, or use the bump as part of the approach. Start with the move you want to practice and leave room for its landing.

Choose which stair gets the coping

The galvanized metal coping can mount on either stair. That lets you choose the edge you want for grind-and-slide practice when you set up the obstacle. Consider which stair suits the trick you are working on, then follow the supplied assembly instructions for mounting it.

Make room for the landing, too

The ramp is six feet long and three feet two inches wide, with a twelve-inch bump. Mark that footprint first, then add the run-in and the landing area for your chosen line. Our Space and Fit guide helps you avoid squeezing the skating into the space left over.

Follow the photos through the build

The Bump to Stairs kit arrives boxed with an instruction manual and photos. Bring a drill and allow an estimated forty-five to sixty minutes for assembly. Lay out the parts where you can work through the sequence before positioning the finished setup for skating.

Plan the finish before the first run

The wooden ramp calls for one quart of Skate Paint. Include coating the wood in your build plan, then make regular checks and care part of keeping the spot ready to skate. Our Ramp Care guide gives you a place to start beyond assembly day.

Awesome equipment and pretty easy to set up! Im a youth pastor with about 30 kids that love skating and everyone of them love the new equipment. I think the best part about OC ramps Is there quality work, but also how fast I received my order. Definitely going to reorder from OC Ramps in the near future. Here are some of our students using our new equipment.

I ordered the bump to stairs for my son for Christmas. Shipping was very quick as was the purchasing portion. It took two of us about 30-40 minutes to fully assemble! Very quick and easy with everything needed to assemble and all very high quality stuff. I was very impressed with the wood and ease of assembly. I will definitely be buying more from OC!

    Fun!

My son and I put one together and it's his favorite obstacle so far. I had to cut the top of the stair sides to match up and a riser. Two 2x4s were too bad to use. One was split all the way down, all the way through in 2 spots and the other was way too twisted. My other bump to stairs was really good besides the shippers beat the package up and the packaging could be better. There were screws all over the road up the my neighbors driveway from the delivery people abusing the package and poor packaging. I will still purchase more from OC Ramps in the future. They took care of me when the delivery guys lost one of the packages and OC Ramps sent me another one right away and modify an order for me for a good price! I would recommend OC Ramps to my fellow skaters! Thanks OC Ramps!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Bump to Stairs Skate Obstacle
How does the Bump to Stairs Skate Obstacle differ from a basic Wedge Bump?

Bump to Stairs carries the launch into a two-stair target with a coping choice. A Wedge Bump stays focused on the takeoff. Choose the stair version when the step feature will add meaningful practice instead of buying more complexity that the rider will avoid.

Is Bump to Stairs intended to replace a full street stair set?

No. It is a focused six-foot obstacle built around a wedge bump and two-stair section. It brings stair-style practice into a controlled setup without claiming to reproduce every street condition. Judge the product by that compact role and the route available around it.

When should I compare Bump to Stairs with Bump to Rail?

Compare them when the rider wants a connected technical target after the bump. Bump to Stairs emphasizes a two-step shape and movable coping position; Bump to Rail emphasizes a raised red rail. Choose the obstacle the rider will actually use in repeated sessions.

How can riders use the Bump to Stairs Skate Obstacle?

Use the Bump to Stairs Skate Obstacle as a line-building obstacle for launches, ollies, and other tricks that fit its exact shape. Give the feature a straight approach and clear landing or exit, then progress from basic rollovers and controlled launches within the rider's ability.

Can I return the Bump to Stairs Skate Obstacle if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply. Review the current OC Ramps Return Policy before ordering.
