A shoe box made for skate sessions

The éS x OC Ramps Shoe Box turns a familiar skate-shoe box into a full-size ledge. Two eight-foot coping edges give you room for grinds and slides, while the oversized box shape brings a different look to your spot. It arrives assembled, so there is no kit build between delivery and setting it in place.

Put the shoe-box shape in your spot

This collaboration between éS and OC Ramps takes the shoe-box shape out of the shop and into the session. Choose it when you want the look of the obstacle to be part of the spot, alongside the tricks you plan to skate on it.

Work both eight-foot coping edges

Coping runs along both eight-foot sides, giving you two long edges for grinds and slides. Plan a 50-50 or boardslide approach around the side you want to skate, and leave room to roll away. Position the box so the second edge stays useful instead of disappearing against a wall.

Choose the ledge height you want to skate

The ledge stands 15.5 inches high. Compare that height with the box or curb you already practice on and the tricks you want to take to this one. Our Ramp Shape guide explains how an obstacle's shape changes the approach and the kind of session it invites.

Measure the box and the riding paths

The Shoe Box is eight feet long and four feet wide. Mark out that footprint, then leave additional space for the approach and exit on each side you intend to skate. Our Space and Fit guide walks through the measurements that make the whole setup usable.

Make room for an assembled ledge

The Shoe Box arrives already assembled. Check the access route to its final position before delivery, taking the four-foot width and eight-foot length into account. You can skip the assembly project, but planning how the full-size obstacle reaches your skate spot is still part of getting ready.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about éS Shoe Box Skate Ledge
How does the éS Shoe Box compare with the HUF Shoe Box Ledge?

Both measure 15.5 inches high, four feet wide and eight feet long, with coping along both long sides. Choose between the éS and HUF collaboration designs based on the look you want in your setup.

Why choose the éS Shoe Box instead of a plain grind box?

The éS collaboration brings an oversized shoe-box design to a ledge for grinds and slides. Choose it when that design is part of what you want in the spot, then compare the footprint and skating edges with the other box you are considering.

Does the setup need access to both coping edges?

Leaving access to both long sides lets you use both coping edges. If one side faces a wall or another obstacle, account for that when planning your approaches and deciding whether the four-foot-wide box suits the space.

What tricks can riders practice on the éS Shoe Box Skate Ledge?

Use the éS Shoe Box Skate Ledge for ledge skills such as 50-50 grinds, boardslides, noseslides, and ollies on or off the obstacle. Where the top and geometry support it, riders can also work on manuals and nose manuals.

Can I return the éS Shoe Box Skate Ledge if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply.
