Come at it differently. Find another trick.

A little transition, a ledge session or a launch: Greg Lutzka's 3 in 1 gives you three ways to use one compact obstacle. Change your approach to change the session, with a 12-inch-high build that leaves the rest of the setup open to ideas. Choose plywood or Skatelite for the top riding surface and make the kit part of your own home spot.

Get three ways to skate from one piece

The 3 in 1 works as a quarter pipe, ledge or launch ramp depending on how you approach it. That variety is the reason to choose it over a dedicated transition: you can work on a different part of your skating without buying another obstacle for each role. Our Ramp Shape guide helps you compare the movements and decide which approaches you will use.

Leave room around the faces you want to use

The obstacle is 12 inches tall, four feet wide and 39 inches long. Its compact body only delivers that three-way choice when the surrounding space lets you approach it. Picture where you will start and land for each use rather than measuring one rectangle against a wall. Our Space and Fit guide helps you map those routes before deciding where it goes.

Choose the top surface, then protect the wood

Select plywood or Skatelite for the top skating surface. A separate one-quart Skate Paint option is available for exposed plywood; keep the coating off Skatelite. The two choices do different jobs, so a Skatelite top does not mean the rest of the wood stops needing care. Our Riding Surfaces guide explains the layers and coatings before you choose.

Put one versatile kit together

The kit includes pre-cut and pre-drilled wood components, counted fasteners, required metal parts and photo instructions. Have a drill ready and allow about 45 to 60 minutes as an assembly estimate. Working from prepared parts lets you focus on putting the obstacle together rather than designing and sourcing it. Our Kit Assembly guide covers how to prepare for that build.

Make changing the spot part of the plan

At 65 pounds, the 3 in 1 is compact without being a lightweight accessory. Choose its skating and storage positions and arrange suitable help when moving it. Once in place, give all three uses a try before deciding what else the setup needs. A new feature should add a different experience while preserving the approaches that make this one versatile.

    Ideal garage ramp

I was originally looking for a mini ramp, but decided to try this bundle of two quarter pipes instead, and honestly, it works perfectly for the small space in my garage. There’s definitely a bit of a learning curve since the obstacles are quite small, but they’re great for practicing and learning new tricks.

I’d definitely recommend getting two quarter pipes if your budget allows. Having both gives you more space to practice, especially for grinds, and makes the setup much more fun.

    SO SICK

I was worried it would be too small but it's the perfect size for me. Im in my 30s, been out of skating for almost 10 years. Great way to get back into it while still being low impact. Very fun and sturdy, easy to put together. I really have no complaints.

    Exactly what my son wanted!

At first I was hesitant because it needed building. It was actually super easy and my son was proud that him and his dad built it. Our plan is to put some casters on it so we can wheel it around and store it on its side. It also provides the perfect spot to store one of his boards.

    Great to learn/relearn

I purchased this ramp to help get my balance back after 15 years of not skating. Its very mellow and alot of fun. Fits well in a garage, I flip it up for storage allowing a car to comfortably fit. Only downside was no instructions. However its fairly intuitive as long as you understand how ramps are built.

    Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 Quarter Pipe
How does the Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 differ from the GRL Combo?

The Greg Lutzka model is one 12-inch-tall, four-foot-wide obstacle that serves as a quarter pipe, ledge, or launch ramp according to the approach. The GRL Combo combines a six-foot grind box, skate rail, and launch ramp in one product. Choose the Greg Lutzka model for one compact obstacle with three uses, or the GRL Combo for three distinct skating features within the same setup.

How does the Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 compare with the 4 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe?

The Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 is 12 inches tall, 4 feet wide, 39 inches long, and 65 pounds, with quarter-pipe, ledge, and launch-ramp uses. The 4 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe is 3 feet 2 inches tall, 6 feet 5 inches deep, and 175 pounds. Choose compact versatility or a taller dedicated transition.

What should I plan if the Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 must move between sessions?

At 65 pounds, the Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 is compact but should not be treated like a lightweight accessory. Choose its skating and storage positions before assembly, keep the movement route clear, and plan appropriate help if it will change locations regularly. The product's small footprint does not mean one person should carry it.

What can riders practice on the Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 Quarter Pipe?

Use the Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 Quarter Pipe for transition practice such as kickturns, rock-to-fakies, axle stalls, and launching into a line. Its height, width, and mobility determine how it fits with the rest of the setup, so start with a clear approach and progress within the rider's ability.

Can I return the Greg Lutzka 3 in 1 Quarter Pipe if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply.
