Add a bump to the next run

Jordan Hoffart's Speed Bump gives a home setup a fourteen-inch-high feature to work into the line. Its four-foot width and eight-foot length create a different choice from a small kicker. Build the kit with the photo instructions, then make room to approach it and roll away into the rest of the session.

Put a bump in the line

The Speed Bump gives a run a raised feature to approach instead of leaving the space flat. Choose it when you want a bump to work around and over as part of the session, with the rest of the line planned around how you intend to skate it.

Use four feet of width

The bump is four feet wide. That gives you room across its face to position your approach, while the fourteen-inch height defines the scale of the feature. Think about the route you enjoy skating rather than choosing the obstacle by height alone.

Plan the eight-foot body and the run beyond it

Eight feet of ramp length needs a deliberate place in the setup. Add the approach and roll-away to that footprint, then account for carrying a 67-pound obstacle into position. Our Space and Fit guide helps you plan the whole riding route.

From boxed kit to finished bump

The Speed Bump comes as a kit with photo instructions. Bring a drill and allow an estimated thirty to forty-five minutes for assembly. Organize the pieces first, then follow the sequence so the completed ramp is ready for its place in the setup.

Choose protection for the wood

Add the one-quart Skate Paint option when you want a coating for the exposed plywood. Keep the coating and its application in the build plan before skating. Our Ramp Care guide helps you prepare for maintenance as the bump becomes a regular part of your spot.

    Speed Bump

My child went to a pump track that opened in town, not knowing how to even use a glide bike, and 1 week later he was riding his bike. We ordered this so he could practice at home . He loves it! Stained it with the OC Ramps skate paint, which was a great touch for longevity and it looks sick. Easy to put together by the way, just keep the wood flush, make some pilot holes while working on the frame it will help it come out perfect.

    Cool ramp

Very nice ramp, cool bump dimensions, kids love it. The brich plywood is a bit thin, and they make you use 4 pieces which makes for alot of seams. I had to add another layer after the fact and it made the ramp a lot better. Framing is solid

Love the ramp. Perfect starter for me but it works as I grow

Ok, only beef is the screws. I had to buy new screws for all elements of the constriction. No big deal, pre-driller holes we great, easy to follow but I kept stripping head after head. I tried a variety of bits/sizes and honestly I am renovating my home so I screw a lot of stuff ;-) Anyway, love the ramp, just do yourself a favor, talk to your old shop teacher about why you can't screw these in, or head to the hardware store and have replacements BEFORE you build.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Jordan Hoffart Speed Bump Ramp
How does the Jordan Hoffart Speed Bump differ from the compact Wedge Bump?

The Speed Bump is a broader eight-foot obstacle standing 14 inches high and four feet wide. The Wedge Bump is a four-foot connector standing 12 inches high. Choose the Speed Bump when a larger signature transition is the desired feature, not simply a small launch.

How does the Speed Bump compare with the Bank Skateboard Ramp?

The Speed Bump is a lower, two-sided-style bump that can sit within a route, while the Bank is a much larger inclined face intended as a substantial feature. Choose the Speed Bump for flow through the setup and the Bank when a broad face should anchor it.

Who should consider the Speed Bump instead of a two-sided spine?

Choose the Speed Bump for a broad bump profile approached as one continuous feature. Choose a Micro Spine or Quarter Pipe Spine when two transition faces and direction changes are the main job. The products may occupy similar planning conversations, but they create different riding shapes.

How can riders use the Jordan Hoffart Speed Bump Ramp?

Use the Jordan Hoffart Speed Bump Ramp as a line-building obstacle for launches, ollies, and other tricks that fit its exact shape. Give the feature a straight approach and clear landing or exit, then progress from basic rollovers and controlled launches within the rider's ability.

Can I return the Jordan Hoffart Speed Bump Ramp if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply. Review the current OC Ramps Return Policy before ordering.
