Two sides. A different trick to try.

Come at it one way for a launch. Take the other approach for a wallie. Launch WR brings those two jobs into one compact ramp, giving a home session somewhere new to go without adding a separate obstacle for each trick. Build it, leave both faces room to work and change the approach when you want a different challenge.

Pick a side for the session

Launch WR combines a sloped launch face with a wallie face. A wallie uses contact with a more upright surface, so it asks for a different approach from riding up a launch. Choose the face that matches what you want to practice and your current ability. Our Ramp Shape guide explains how different ramp profiles change the way you move through a setup.

Make both faces reachable

The ramp stands 15 inches high, measures two feet wide and extends 52 inches long. Its two-sided design earns its place when the surrounding pavement lets you use both approaches. Include the run-up and landing for each in your measurements, instead of placing the wallie face against something that blocks it. Use the Space and Fit guide to plan that space.

Let the layout change between sessions

Launch WR is made to be repositioned, so the same obstacle can serve different arrangements as you find new lines. Choose its position before skating, with a stable base and open approaches. If you would rather ride over two back-to-back transitions, compare the Micro Spine; it gives a different two-sided movement within a narrow ramp.

Build both faces from one kit

The Launch WR includes galvanized-steel coping, assembly hardware and photo instructions. Have a drill ready and allow about an hour as an assembly estimate. Keeping the parts and instructions together lets you work through the build before choosing the finished ramp's position. Our Kit Assembly guide covers the preparation that helps the process go smoothly.

OC Ramps 1 Quart Ramp Skate Paint — skate ramp paint outdoor coating

Keep the wood ready for another session

One quart of Skate Paint is specified for the Launch WR's exposed plywood. Treat that as part of the wood-care plan, alongside where the ramp stays and what you inspect between sessions. Paint is a coating, not another riding-surface sheet. Our Ramp Care guide helps you look after the ramp as you keep finding uses for both faces.

    Old People can Skate 2

I’m 49 years old and just started back skating. It’s been 30’years since Ive stood on a board until a year ago. I purchased the 3.5 ft by 12 ft mini ramp from you guys as well. This little launch ramp is fantastic. Great for beginners as well as seasoned skaters. It is a lot of fun to play on. I’m having the time of my life

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Launch WR Skate Ramp
How does the Launch WR Skate Ramp compare with the GB Kicker?

Launch WR is a 15-inch obstacle with separate launch and wallie faces. The GB Kicker is a lower, narrower ramp designed to align with an OC Ramps Grind Box. Choose Launch WR when two distinct faces add useful variety; choose the GB Kicker when a compact Grind Box approach is the actual job.

How does Launch WR compare with the Bank Skateboard Ramp?

Launch WR is a portable two-foot-wide obstacle with launch and wallie faces. The Bank is an eight-foot-wide, 350-pound ramp meant for a much more substantial position. Choose Launch WR for compact variety and planned movement; choose the Bank when a broad straight face should anchor the site.

Who should compare Launch WR with the Micro Spine?

Compare them when two usable faces are important. Launch WR pairs a launch face with a wallie face, while Micro Spine uses two back-to-back transition faces. Choose the type of direction change the rider wants instead of assuming every two-sided obstacle serves the same practice.

How can riders use the Launch WR Skate Ramp?

Use the Launch WR Skate Ramp as a line-building obstacle for launches, ollies, and other tricks that fit its exact shape. Give the feature a straight approach and clear landing or exit, then progress from basic rollovers and controlled launches within the rider's ability.

Can I return the Launch WR Skate Ramp if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply. Review the current OC Ramps Return Policy before ordering.
