Give both ends of the session room to open up

Two broad transitions can make a home spot feel very different. This pair gives you eight feet of width on each quarter pipe, with the freedom to face them together or use them in separate lines. They are substantial ramps, so choose the pair when your space lets you enjoy both faces and the open ground around them.

OC Ramps Quarter Pipe Ramps – Two 8 Foot — rear view — backyard quarter pipe ramp kit

Use all eight feet of transition

Each ramp gives you eight feet across the face while keeping the three-foot-two-inch height shared with the narrower four- and six-foot models. That width is useful when you want more room to choose an approach across the transition. The two ramps remain independent, with your own riding space between them rather than an included half-pipe flat bottom. Our Ramp Shape guide helps you compare the arrangements.

Make a layout around two full ramp bodies

Per ramp, the dimensions are eight feet wide, six feet five inches deep and three feet two inches tall. Account for that footprint twice, then add the distance between the ramps and the space to approach and roll away. There is no fixed combined length. Our Space and Fit guide helps you turn the layout you imagine into measurements on the ground.

Plan moves for two substantial ramps

Each eight-foot quarter pipe weighs 350 pounds. Rear caster wheels help with repositioning, but the route still needs to work for the ramp's size and weight. Choose the build, skating and storage locations together so you know where each ramp will go. Our Shipping and Delivery guide also helps you think through the route from delivery to the build area.

Give each build the time it deserves

Assembly is estimated at two to three hours per ramp, using a drill and wrench. The kit includes pre-cut and pre-drilled wood parts, counted screws, required metal components and photo instructions. Work through one complete ramp before starting its partner. Our Kit Assembly guide helps you organize a build area large enough to keep those pieces accessible.

Care for the plywood across both ramps

Each ramp has two plywood riding layers. Select no Skate Paint or add one gallon for the exposed wood across the pair. Paint is a protective coating; the option does not add a separate riding-surface sheet. Think about care for the decks, sides and other exposed wood as well as the riding faces. Our Ramp Care guide helps you keep those checks in your routine.

Purchased the 8 foot quarter pipe for my 12 year old daughter. Customer service was ver5y responsive and helpful. It arrived before Christmas as promised. My husband and daughter assembled the ramp over two days, but it could have been done in one. A powerful, fully charged drill is a must. Definitely requires more than one to assemble. Followed the included instructions, so assembly was straightforward. Also purchased two quarts of the skate paint. Only used one full quart. However since the weather was cold and damp, it took several days to dry. The ramp is strong and the quality is great. Overall, if you're looking for a skate ramp, I recommend checking out OC Ramps.

I purchased an 8 foot quarter pipe from OC ramps to skate and ride my BMX. The kit arrived in good condition and was packaged up neatly. Instructions were easy to follow but one tip I'd recommend is to pre-set all of the screws by hand before flipping the side boards up. This will save time. It only took me and my 7-year-old son about 4 hours to build. (This includes breaks for drill charging.) It was easy to put together and a very enjoyable bonding experience. During the assembly, I called OC Ramps to double-check on something and Tyler hopped right on the phone with me and helped me out. The ramp looks and feels great -- very stable and solid. Thanks again OC Ramps!

My son Cade absolutely LOVES his OC Ramps quarter pipe. He uses it to practice his tricks daily and his friends would love coming over to skate on it too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Pair of 8 Foot Quarter Pipes
When does the Pair of 8 Foot Quarter Pipes make more sense than one eight-foot ramp?

One 8 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe gives the setup a single 350-pound transition. The pair supplies two complete ramps with the same geometry and rear casters, allowing a facing layout or separate approaches. Choose two only when that second broad transition changes the intended session and the property can support both footprints, routes, and storage positions. One ramp is the better choice when it already completes the setup.

How does the Pair of 8 Foot Quarter Pipes compare with the four-foot pair?

Both pairs use ramps that are 3 feet 2 inches tall, 6 feet 5 inches deep, and movable on rear casters. Each eight-foot ramp weighs 350 pounds and doubles the coping span of each 175-pound four-foot ramp. Choose the four-foot pair when a more contained layout preserves approaches and storage. Choose eight feet only when both broader transitions can be fully used without crowding the site.

How does the Pair of 8 Foot Quarter Pipes differ from a 16 Foot Wide Half Pipe?

The pair provides two independent eight-foot-wide transitions that can move and face each other or serve separate approaches. The 16 Foot Wide Half Pipe is one connected 3.5-foot-tall, 22-foot-8-inch-long structure that can add one or two 5-foot corners. Choose the pair for rearrangeable return points; choose the half pipe for a fixed, continuous back-and-forth layout with broader width and optional raised corners.

What can riders practice with Pair of 8 Foot Quarter Pipes?

Face the pair for back-and-forth transition runs or use each quarter pipe as a separate return point in a larger line. Common progression includes kickturns, rock-to-fakies, axle stalls, and transfers that match the rider's ability and the available clearance.

Can I return the Pair of 8 Foot Quarter Pipes if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply. Review the current OC Ramps Return Policy before ordering.
