But I would recommend getting a buddy to hold some of the sheets in place while installing them to the frame. Skate paint is a must, the ride quality is night and day better with it. pro-tip on the tarp situation, if you decide to cover yours you can get billboard tarps that easily cover the whole ramp if it's outside.”

"Stained this halfpipe & sealed with Skate Paint, here’s how - stained the ramp with half quart of walnut gel stain (works good on transition, plus I already had it in my garage) and painted the outside black with 1 and a half quarts of flat black exterior latex paint. I then painted the whole ramp with skate paint, it took about 3/4 of the gallon and about 36 hours to fully dry.”
