Add height in one corner if you want it

The base ramp is three and a half feet tall, eight feet wide and 22 feet eight inches long. The five-foot option adds one raised corner section; it does not make the whole ramp five feet tall. Build on the included plywood layer

The kit starts with one plywood riding layer. Keep it, select a second plywood layer, or choose GatorSkins in Brown or Green or Skatelite Pro for the top riding surface. The sheet options are different materials, not different paint finishes. Our Riding Surfaces guide explains how supporting wood, riding panels and coatings work together so you can choose the surface you intend to skate.

Choose protection for the wood you expose

Add Skate Paint if you want a coating for the exposed plywood. It is a separate choice from GatorSkins or Skatelite, so choosing a riding panel does not automatically add paint to your order.     Great Ramp

    The 8' ramp turned out great. The only issue I had was the center flat portion had incorrect measurements, I had to cut 1/2 inch of of the 1st and 2nd ply.

    I would give OC ramps 4 and 3/4 stars, unfortunately google only allows 4 or 5. It wasn't perfect but OC was good with responding to questions and price was good for wood, screws, coping, delivery, etc.

    I purchased the 8' wide ramp with 2 ply and skate paint, it was delivered in maybe 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately the truck they delivered it on did not have a large enough lift and we had to unpack the majority of the wood to make it light enough for the lift. This is not OC fault but the delivery company. All items purchased were packed on 1 8' crate.

    Once I had the ramp I leveled out my back yard with $1 pavers I bought from Home Depot to the best of my ability. This is much more difficult than you'd imagine. It took a total of 20 pavers and probably a full day.

    Once the floor was level-ish I started building. I immediately realized you need a compact driver and a normal drill is not strong enough to drive the screws through the wood. No problem I have a compact driver but only 1 so it's going to take a little longer. Don't recall if this is mentioned in the build instructions. Their build instructions seem uniform for all their ramp types so measurements might be off.

    Once I got the skeleton of ramps and flat built I noticed the flat was slightly wider than the ramps, not by much maybe half an inch. Oh well nothings perfect. I screwed them together with a little hanging out on either side.

    Now I started adding the first ply, 1 and 2 went on perfect but 3 and 4 were too long…

    Great ramp

    Instructions were good besides when you get to the middle base part, it wasn’t matching what the picture showed as to what I was given for alignment with the predrilled holes on the plywood to the 2x3s, we managed to make it work but I had to make more holes and adjustments, also making it offset with the second layer of skatelite to going over the screws from the first layer. Other then that it was it fun project. Great ramp and I would definitely recommend. Customer service helped me with my delivery process due to my hard to ship to area, thank you for making it easy.

    Picked up the 8-foot wide 3 1/2 foot tall half-pipe for our backyard. Fast shipment and great communication. Product arrived as described and construction was pretty straightforward. A few of the pre-drilled holes were slightly off, but no big deal to just re-adjust slightly and fill the other holes with some wood putty. Ramp has a nice smooth transition and is a great size for a backyard. Definitely recommend picking up some of OC Ramps’ Skate Paint too, especially if you live in a wet climate. Our son loves riding on the ramp daily, whether taking a break from school work or trying out some new tricks. We are definitely glad that we finally pulled the trigger and got him the OC ramp!
