The Equation, with another line to work toward

Bring Cody and Dave's Equation into your home sessions. The eight-foot-wide mini ramp starts with a three-and-a-half-foot transition, with an optional taller corner when you want a different line in the same setup. It comes as a kit, so you can build a signature ramp without starting from a stack of uncut lumber.

Keep the base, or add a taller corner

The standard Equation is three and a half feet tall. Choose the optional five-foot corner when you want a higher section to work into your runs without raising the whole ramp. That leaves a genuine choice: keep the base layout, or add variety at one corner. Our Ramp Shape guide helps you think through how height changes the skating.

Make room for the full run

Eight feet across and 22 feet eight inches from end to end give this ramp a different space requirement from a short garage mini. Mark out the body, then account for deck access and room to move around it. Our Space and Fit guide helps you plan the surrounding area before the ramp becomes part of everyday life.

Pick the surface beneath your wheels

One plywood riding layer is included. You can select a second plywood layer, GatorSkins in Brown or Green, or Skatelite Pro. Those choices let you decide between exposed plywood and a separate riding panel without changing the Equation's height layout. The Riding Surfaces guide explains what each material does and where a wood coating fits.

Build the ramp, not every part

Pre-cut and pre-drilled parts, counted hardware and photo instructions take the cutting and parts list out of your build. Bring a drill and allow an estimated four to six hours for assembly. If you would rather have help putting it together, OC Ramps installation services can discuss the location and project with you.

Keep caring for the wood around the surface

A separate riding panel does not cover every piece of wood in the ramp. Skate Paint is an optional coating for exposed plywood, not another riding layer and not a coating for GatorSkins or Skatelite. Keep the rest of the build in your care plan too. Our Ramp Care guide helps you prepare for checks and maintenance between sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Cody and Dave Equation Mini Ramp - 8 Foot Wide
How does the Cody and Dave Equation Mini Ramp compare with the Garage Mini Ramp Kit?

The Equation model is fixed at eight feet wide, with a 3.5-foot base, a 22-foot-8-inch length, and one optional 5-foot corner. The Garage Mini stays 26 inches tall, is 15 feet 8 inches long at eight feet wide, and also comes in 12- and 16-foot widths. Choose the Equation for its taller signature layout; choose Garage when lower height or shorter finished length better fits the home space.

How does the Cody and Dave Equation Mini Ramp compare with the Turtle Half Pipe?

The Equation is eight feet wide, 22 feet 8 inches long, and starts 3.5 feet tall; its single 5-foot corner is optional. The Turtle is 12 feet wide at the same length and base height, includes one 5-foot corner, and offers Turtle-specific board guards. Choose between footprint, whether the raised corner is optional or included, and the visual package.

What can riders practice on the Cody and Dave Equation Mini Ramp - 8 Foot Wide?

Use the Cody and Dave Equation Mini Ramp - 8 Foot Wide for repeated transition runs and progression on skills such as kickturns, rock-to-fakies, axle stalls, and linking tricks from wall to wall. The exact progression should match the rider's ability, the selected transition, and the clear skating area around the ramp.

How much room should I plan around the Cody and Dave Equation Mini Ramp - 8 Foot Wide?

Start with the assembled dimensions for the selected width, height, corner, and surface configuration. Then leave a clear approach, roll-away, deck access, and enough working room for assembly and maintenance. Confirm the actual site before ordering; the listed product footprint alone is not the same as a complete skating-area plan.

Can I return the Cody and Dave Equation Mini Ramp - 8 Foot Wide if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply. Review the current OC Ramps Return Policy before ordering.
