Eight feet of transition to keep coming back to

When a narrow approach feels limiting, a wider quarter pipe opens up more of the face to skate. The Dave and Cody model gives you eight feet across the transition with The Equation identity, standing three feet two inches tall. It is a substantial home ramp for riders who will use that width, with rear casters to help when the setup needs to change.

Bring The Equation identity to your spot

The Dave and Cody quarter pipe pairs The Equation identity with a broad eight-foot transition. Its signature character is the reason to choose it over the standard model with the same geometry, rather than expecting a different height or riding surface. Put the look you want alongside the skating you enjoy; our Ramp Shape guide helps you weigh the shape of the session.

Give the coping span an approach to match

The ramp measures eight feet wide, six feet five inches deep and three feet two inches tall. That width gives you room across the face to choose your approach and work toward the coping, but only if the surrounding ground leaves it usable. Our Space and Fit guide helps you include the run-up and roll-away before choosing the ramp's position.

Keep plywood layers and paint separate

The plywood riding surface and optional Skate Paint serve different purposes. Add two quarts to protect exposed wood; the coating is not a replacement for the plywood or a separate Skatelite or GatorSkins sheet. Leave the signature artwork uncovered and plan for ongoing ramp care. Our Riding Surfaces guide explains how the wood and coating work as different parts of the setup.

Set aside a build window for the wide ramp

You receive pre-cut and pre-drilled boards, counted screws, required metal parts and a photo instruction booklet. Assembly calls for a drill and wrench, with an estimate of two to three hours. Lay out the parts where you have room to work through the full-width build. Our Kit Assembly guide helps you prepare before the first parts come together.

Use the casters with the whole route in mind

Rear caster wheels help reposition the ramp, but its 350-pound weight calls for a deliberate move. Decide where it will skate, where it will rest and how it will get between those places before assembly. Keep the route open as the setup grows. Our Site Preparation guide helps you consider access and the ground beneath the ramp alongside the riding area.

    Awesome

Huge fans of Cody & Dave's so it was required I had to get this quarter pipe with their signatures engraved, so sick! I'm only in Irvine so had the OC team build this & I picked it up, all within a few days! When I got to the shop for pick up, they even had some pro skaters filming, rad experience & highly recommend! Quick & responsive customer service which is key these days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Dave and Cody 8 Foot Quarter Pipe
What differs between the Dave and Cody Quarter Pipe and the standard 8 Foot Wide Quarter Pipe?

Both are 3 feet 2 inches tall, 8 feet wide, 6 feet 5 inches deep, and 350 pounds. Both use rear casters and an optional two-quart paint choice. The Dave and Cody version adds The Equation identity. Choose it when that signature context matters; choose the standard model when the same geometry, mobility, and surface configuration are the priority.

How does the Dave and Cody 8 Foot Quarter Pipe compare with the Unicorn Quarter Pipe Ramp?

Both use a 6-foot-5-inch depth and rear wheels, but the Dave and Cody ramp is 3 feet 2 inches tall, 8 feet wide, 350 pounds, and offers two quarts of Skate Paint. The Unicorn is 2 feet 6 inches tall, 6 feet wide, 185 pounds, and offers one quart with its engraved graphic. Choose the broader Equation transition or the smaller Unicorn identity and footprint.

When should I choose the six-foot quarter pipe instead of the Dave and Cody eight-foot model?

Both are 3 feet 2 inches tall and 6 feet 5 inches deep, with rear casters and a two-quart paint option. The six-foot model weighs 215 pounds, while Dave and Cody is eight feet wide and 350 pounds. Choose six feet when storage and approach width matter more than the extra coping span or Equation identity.

What can riders practice on the Dave and Cody 8 Foot Quarter Pipe?

Use the Dave and Cody 8 Foot Quarter Pipe for transition practice such as kickturns, rock-to-fakies, axle stalls, and launching into a line. Its height, width, and mobility determine how it fits with the rest of the setup, so start with a clear approach and progress within the rider's ability.

Can I return the Dave and Cody 8 Foot Quarter Pipe if it is not the right fit?

Eligible unused products may be requested for return within 30 calendar days of purchase when they are in original condition and packaging with all included parts and manuals. Customized, used, skated, damaged, or incomplete products are not eligible, and freight, original shipping, processing costs, and a restocking fee may apply. Review the current OC Ramps Return Policy before ordering.
