Skateboard Ramp Rental for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Premiere at Paramount Pictures

You can imagine how stoked we were to get an email from Paramount Pictures for a ramp rental request for the movie premiere of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

Talk about a dream come true! We weren't going to disappoint on this one and knew we had to create something extra special for this event.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Premiere: A Dream Come True

We were ecstatic when we received a ramp rental request from the organizers of the premiere. The event was held at Paramount Pictures in Hollywood, California, and we were honored to be a part of it.

The plan was to set up a carnival for two hours prior to the movie screening, complete with complimentary Pizza Hut pizza, ice cream, interactive games, exciting prizes, artistic face painting, and, of course, thrilling skateboarding on one of our top-notch half pipe ramps.

Setting Up the Ramp: Customized for TMNT Perfection

Our job was to set up the ramp a day before the event and bring in professional skateboarders for a two-hour demonstration during the carnival. We took this opportunity to consult with the organizers on branding options for the ramp. Their top pick was a vinyl wrap, but budget constraints led us to devise affordable yet imaginative alternatives.

One suggestion was to paint the ramp in their branded colors. We opted for a dark green skating surface, purple platforms, orange coping, and lime green guard rails. To add a touch of authenticity, we refrained from applying any decals until the ramp was completely installed. The end result was a customized ramp that perfectly represented the spirit of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Big Day: Skateboarding Extravaganza

The day of the event was a whirlwind of excitement and adrenaline. The OC Ramps pro skate team arrived two hours ahead of schedule, ready to put on a show for the attendees.

From the adult team squad, we had Dave Bachinsky, Mike Berdis, Jonjon, and Tom Tom.

From our younger team, we had Kayden, Mayze, Jake, and Steven Vasquez.

These aren't just any skaters - they are the ones competing and winning contests in prestigious events such as the X-Games, Street League, and Dew Tour!

Due to an anticipated heatwave, we made sure to have enough riders to swap out during the demonstration to prevent any heat exhaustion issues. Safety is our utmost priority at OC Ramps, and we wanted to ensure that the skaters could perform at their best while staying safe and comfortable. 

The Power of Skateboarding: Creating Unforgettable Memories

As soon as visitors arrived at the event, they were immediately captivated by the skateboarding commotion. Children from different age groups and backgrounds gathered to witness the remarkable display of skate talent.

Our skaters took regular breaks and rotated groups due to the scorching temperatures, nearing 100°. We wanted to ensure that everyone had a chance to see their favorite skaters in action and enjoy the experience to the fullest.

In case you're wondering - we used our 12 ft wide half pipe ramp for this skate rental. It's 3 1/2 ft tall by 23 ft long, featuring a nice little 5 ft tall corner extension to top off the fun. 

Working with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and skateboarding at Paramount Pictures was honestly a dream come true for us. It was an honor to be invited to participate in such a high-profile event and to contribute to the excitement surrounding the TMNT movie premiere.
