Starter Package 1 combines two Wedge Bump Ramps, a Roll-On Rail, and a Greg Lutzka complete skateboard so a new skater is not locked into one obstacle. Spread the ramps apart, bring them together, or move the rail between them as balance and confidence grow.
Two Wedge Bumps, more than one arrangement
Place the two Wedge Bump Ramps side by side, leave a gap between them, or use them in different parts of the setup. The package gives a beginner two matching launch shapes without forcing every session into one permanent layout or one repeated riding target.
Roll onto the rail before learning to ollie onto it
The Roll-On Rail lets a new skater approach the working surface without first ollieing onto a taller bar. That creates a practical place to work on balance and basic grinds while the rest of the package handles launch and transition practice.
A Greg Lutzka complete is ready for the setup
The included Greg Lutzka complete uses a 31-by-7.5-inch, 7-ply hard rock maple deck with aluminum trucks, ABEC bearings, and 50 mm wheels. A matching fingerboard and tutorial video provide two additional ways to learn the package beyond the ramps and rail.
Use the tutorial and fingerboard between sessions
The matching fingerboard and tutorial access give a beginner a way to study the included setup away from the pavement. They do not replace riding time, but they make the package more than three obstacles and a board by adding a smaller visual learning tool to the order.
Keep one bump available as the layout grows
Because Package 1 includes two matching Wedge Bumps, one can remain a familiar takeoff while the other moves to a new gap, rail, or route. That split lets the setup change without removing every known reference point from a beginner's session at once.

The internet has all sorts of terrible ideas as to how to quiet or dampen the sound of your skateboard ramp - in particular the mini ramps (or halfpipes).
You may read about wives tales on using insulation, filling the coping with whatever, or add pillows and blankets behind the ramp. We are here to clear the air….that is all nonsense.
There are really only 2 suggestions to help quiet your mini ramp.
- You can close up the back of your skateboard ramp with ¾” thick plywood. This will eliminate the hollow sound significantly. Again, don’t read into the bogus information about filling in that empty space before you close it up with plywood. It doesn’t work. Simply closing up the backend will help with the noise. Some customers will get creative with it- we’ve seen several put hinges on the backend - making a custom door for storage, etc. That is entirely optional to make use of the space. But in terms of noise levels, close it up.
- Also using a softer gel wheel is helpful to give you the incognito vibe your neighbors won’t complain about while shredding your skateboard ramp. Generally the harder the wheel, the louder they hear ya coming! Many skaters have multiple skateboards with a different set of wheels, most prefer the harder wheels during normal street skating use & then at night we switch over to the gel softer wheels so your neighbor’s can get their precious sleep & you can shred your heart out! Not every skater likes riding a gel wheel. There are many pros/cons. For this conversation, the biggest pro for having a softer wheel is the reduced noise factor. If you have neighbors that are goin to be a narc, just throw on the soft wheels!
