All about the Biz-ness!!

As the crew arrived on site Monday morning at 7am, the pallets were already delivered to the booth space and was ready to be installed. The guys packed all the necessary tools to knock out the installation as quickly as possible. The client mentioned the ramp needed to be fully installed by 11am as the doors open promptly at 1pm.

Needless to say the "Dream Team" of OC Ramps owner Tyler & two professional skaters Christian Sereika & TomTom were up against the clock as this ramp is one of our largest ramps we offer in kit form. Pictured is our 5ft tall Half Pipe that's 16ft wide and 30ft long with a 1.5ft tall corner extension to make 6.5ft tall. Our client chose the added feature of branding the ramp with the custom colors of the trade show.

The Dream Team completed the ramp within record time at 11am sharp without any minutes to spare! By this point of the day the crew was exhausted as the time change was 3 hours ahead of Cali time. Wishin' they were sitting poolside with pina colada's, they had to head back to hotel & spruce up as they needed to be ready to perform the first demonstration at 1pm.

The Dream Team of Christian & TomTom did an incredible job as it was immediately a crowd pleaser as there was nothing like OUR booth at the show. After several hours on the first day, the guys called it a day. Our client invited us on a bus tour to the famous Kentucky Derby, Churchill Down. What an amazing experience!! From chillin' in the millionaire lounge to the tasty drinks, fantastic food and awesome live music.

Over the next two days on Tuesday & Wednesday the team had full 8 hour days of skate demos. Picture is Christian catchin' the fresh air!

Many people came by to take pictures & videos as Christian & TomTom wowed the crowd daily. The guys were very gracious and patient as they were more then happy to accommodate anyone's request. A few people wanted to sit on the ramp and have the skaters boost over them, and many only wanted to be next to the action!

In the slow moments during the show, the guys got super creative with some fellow booth neighbors. Creating the "Man Olympics" which is combining skateboarding with corn hole with basketball, football and top golf.

On the final day of the show, Wednesday afternoon was concluded with guest speaker Nicole Kidman. Everyone was given food & drink tickets, all 4,000 attendee's got to enjoy the local downtown city. Hospitality & sincere connections with people was our favorite experience while in Kentucky.

The very next day came too quickly as the crew had to wake up early to disassemble the ramp. Fortunately we were the last ones in the trade show to remove our booth/product so we have over 1000 square foot facility to ourselves! The ramp dis-assembled quickly and was loaded back onto the pallets to be shipped back to our warehouse in California.

Overall, it was a major success for everyone involved. Met so many connections with rad people!! Our skaters were hyped to be there and are very passionate about what we do. Therefore the attendee's saw that, looked at the "Dream Team" as rock stars. During the entire event everyone recognized us as the Skaters from Cali!!
