When you can dedicate part of the yard to skating, start with the feature you will come back to most. That might be a mini ramp for back-and-forth sessions, a wide quarter pipe or a street line built around a box and rail. Plan that main session first, then add features that give the layout a purpose rather than filling every open space.
OC Ramps’ standard kits offer a way to bring that idea home without designing every ramp component from scratch. This collection brings together individual products to compare, not one complete park package. Dimensions, upgrades and included parts belong to the specific product and configuration you choose.
Compare half pipes and mini ramps when you want opposing transitions. Compare single or paired quarter pipes when you want a different layout. Read the full dimensions, not just the width in the name, and check whether an extension or other selected option changes the plan.
Then consider boxes and ledges or rails for a separate street line. Keep approaches, exits and walking access clear. A bigger equipment list is not automatically a better park if one feature interrupts the next.
Use the Space and Fit Guide to map the ramp and usable area around it. Review the Site Preparation Guide for base and drainage decisions. Keep access for assembly and future care in the layout rather than leaving it until the ramp is built.
Check the selected product’s delivery requirements and plan the route from unloading to the build area. If you want help getting it built, review OC Ramps installation services and confirm the project arrangements before ordering around a deadline.
Plywood layers, Skate Paint and specialty riding surfaces solve different parts of the setup decision. They are not interchangeable upgrades and are not offered on every product. Use the Ramp Surface Guide alongside the chosen product’s options, then include the applicable upgrades and care in your total budget.
If the standard configuration cannot deliver the layout you want, explore custom builds. For a larger site with multiple distinct riding areas, compare ramps for large dedicated spaces before committing to the first anchor feature.
Choose the main session you want, then the feature that makes it possible. That may be a mini ramp, quarter pipe or street obstacle. Confirm the complete footprint and site requirements before adding extra pieces. Start with a layout you will use often rather than a list of every ramp type.
Not by default. This collection groups individual ramps and obstacles for comparison. Only a product specifically listed as a package includes its stated group of items. Check the selected product’s contents and options; a lifestyle photo is not a packing list.
Compare the riding layout and the exact products, not only the number of transitions. A mini ramp is designed as a specific back-and-forth setup. Two separate quarter pipes need their own placement and clear space between them, and should not be assumed to form the same structure. The Ramp Shape Guide helps explain the different sessions.
Use the dimensions for the width and upgrades you select. An extension or other option can change what needs to fit, so do not plan from a base-model photo alone. Mark the complete layout and access space before ordering, and ask OC Ramps to clarify any option whose dimensions are not clear.
Resolve the site requirements before the kit arrives. Check the selected product’s foundation needs, the condition and level of the site, drainage and how the parts will reach the assembly area. Start with site preparation and delivery planning rather than assuming the lawn is ready.
OC Ramps offers installation services. Share the product, location, access and site condition to confirm what your project needs. Do not assume paid installation or site preparation is included in a kit price unless the order explicitly includes it.
Consider a custom build when standard dimensions, transitions or layout cannot meet the site and session you want. Bring usable measurements, photos and your priorities. A custom plan should be evaluated before ordering a standard kit you expect to reshape or combine structurally.
